Hello, I’m Rosie! Before inviting me into your world, it seems only fair that I give you a little insight into mine.
I’m a portrait photographer based in South East London. I photograph people, and I love doing it. My hope is that my work not only captures what people look like, but celebrates who they are.
Born and bred on the Cornish coast, I am at my happiest by the sea. I love adventures and being outdoors. I believe playfulness is the key to happiness. Football is my guilty pleasure (Liverpool FC to be specific!). I adore my family and friends. Chocolate is my ultimate weakness…just after Prosecco!
I originally trained as an actor and spent a wonderful ten years working in the industry. This is where my passion for story telling began. However, it wasn’t until I put myself behind the camera that I discovered the true magic of preserving a moment in time. In less than a second, the right photograph can turn a fleeting moment into a lifelong treasure.
For me, beauty is in the simplest things. Human connection. The ‘in-between’ moments. The real stuff. And my mission is to capture these authentic moments in a fun and relaxed way. I am dedicated to taking meaningful photographs that preserve happy memories, speak to the heart, and truly celebrate who you are.

“My headshot session with Rosie was brilliant. I don’t usually enjoy the process of having my headshots done and find I can feel very awkward with still photography, but none of this was true to my time with Rosie! She works from a lovely studio in her garden and she made the whole experience really relaxed. At the start of the session we spoke about what I was hoping for and she shared a mood-board she had made for me which was brilliant and exactly what I had in mind. We shot with several different backdrops and tops, which gave a good variety to choose from, and she is great at suggesting different poses to make the photos look really natural and comfortable. I have had a number of sets of headshots taken over the years and my session with Rosie was definitely my favourite! Her energy during the shoot made for a really fun afternoon, and I am delighted with the results.”

“I was feeling emotional, living in a static caravan on a very muddy building site with my husband, 7 month old and 3 year old (and our somewhat chaotic dog) and I saw that Rosie had an offer on for doing lifestyle shoots in your home to capture, these precious fleeting moments before I returned to work the following week.
To say I’d set Rosie a challenge was an understatement! However, she arrived and instantly I was at ease; well we all were. My three year old happily chatted away with Rosie telling her what she’d been doing that day, and all about... everything! This isn’t how my miss 3 always is - shes most often quite shy with new folk. Rosie seemed to know the right amount to say to help her feel safe and listened to, while still focusing on her job. So much so, that weeks after the photo shoot she was still referred to as ‘the fun camera lady’. Many beautiful shots were taken of both children, and the smiles they’re showing is credit to how comfortable Rosie made us all feel on what, in reflection, was actually a very chaotic time in our lives!”
“We recently did a family photo shoot with Rosie and she was absolutely fantastic. She brought a pop up studio for our living room and then we went outside for some lifestyle shots. We explored on the common at the end of our road so the kids could play and run around. Rosie made the kids feel at ease by chatting and playing with them and was incredibly patient, especially when it took a little longer to get the two children in the same shot.
